Easter

Here are some Easter pictures -  for some reason they uploaded from the end of Easter to the beginning. So if you like to read things in order, go from bottom to top. :)

The end of the 2nd hunt...counting eggs.  There was a boys team and a girls team battling!  Emmy and Zane were leading the two packs.

Emmy and her Grandma searching under the couch for eggs.
Zane and Great Uncle Bob, seeing what they found.

I tried to take a few shots of the kids - but it was at the end of a long day, so I didn't get too many great ones.  Still pretty cute though - I wish I would have gotten a video of them squeezing Smith and trying to pose for pictures.

Our kids have lot's of people who love them and care about them - here's Smith with his Great Aunt Judi, Grandma Jodi, Great Uncle Bob, and Great Grandma Fran.
We did a few other fun things that day - we dropped colored vinegar into baking soda and watched it bubble.
We made bunny and egg pancakes.
Checking out a new Easter lego.
The Easter bunny wasn't very hungry and only took a few bites of the carrots we left out.
Emmy loves her new sparkling chapstick.

These two were trying to match the eggs and put them together for me. :)

Estes Park

We got away for a day with the kids and went to Estes Park. After spending the whole morning getting ready, we finally made it up there and had an awesome day. It felt so good to be outside and spend good quality time together. The kids had the best time.

Here's Emmy Girl showing off her sweet brother.  She was sharing her Abby doll with him.
We spent the first part of the day at a big playground and ate lunch there.

Throwing rocks into the river - there were elk walking through the water right by us.
Good thing they had their walking sticks. :)

Had to get ice cream of course - both ordered strawberry.

Oh yeah - Smith was there too, as happy as ever.

On the way home, we stopped at a really cool hike for Zack and Zane to go together.  Zack has a picture on his phone of Zane peeing in the bushes - that was the highlight!  They LOVED hiking together and Zane is such a trooper and wanted to keep going.  Zack had to make him turn around.  Emmy and Smith and I rested in the car after a long day.  Loved this day.

Outside Fun

Here are just a few cute pictures of the kids playing outside lately...
I love this picture so much - girlie girl mixed with tomboy!
Crazy sprinkler guy...
Friends

Emmy was modeling - here are a few of lot's of poses.  LOL.

We were at a friend's birthday party - here's the kids lined up for "Red Light, Green Light." We love these friends!! :)
All the kids stripped down to undies to get into the baby pool - for a marble game - they were having so much fun that we never even got out the marbles.

Smith is 6 Months Old

Our sweet little man is 6 months old!! He had his checkup today and he weighs 19 pounds (75th %tile), and is in the 99th %tile for height. He's healthy and soooo happy.
He laughs and smiles all day long. He's been eating baby rice and oatmeal and has tried some fruits and veggies. So far so good on that. He sits up now, rolls both way, and is grabbing like a maniac. He is obsessed with his brother and sister and enjoys watching them so much. He wants to be part of everything we are doing all the time. He's just the best ever.

He kept getting trapped on his tummy because he couldn't get that one arm out of the way. He woke up several times a night stuck. Thank goodness he's pretty much figured that one out.
Here are a bunch of videos of Smith...

Smith is starting to grab and try to get everything in front of him. Everytime he sees someone on a computer or especially the ipad, he gets completely sucked in. Zane was letting him help him out this day but didn't like his little hands on there for long.

They had been doing this for a while...Smith was just laughing at Zane scaring him. Notice the happy sucking in sound - my favorite! I also love watching Zane being such a fun brother in this video. He is so good with Smith and adores him so much.

I took this video to show how Smith finds his hands. I love how he just notices them and then his hands entertain him and make him happy.

I love this video of peek-a-boo. I love how his expression instantly changes from happy when I'm there to worried and sad when I'm gone. I also love how he gets a little startled each time.

This guy thinks just about everything that Emmy does is hilarious!

Emerson Keeps us Laughing

Here are some cute videos of sweet Emmy girl from the past few weeks. I wish I had more, because she is at the best age...awesome imagination, big and funny personality, trying out new language, and busy!

Take One: Stage fright when I asked her to sing a song

Take Two: Singing her favorite song right now

Here's Emmy catching monsters in the yard. She and Zane had put together an elaborate trap and here's her trying to put monsters into it. She has started adding her own finishing touches to her hair lately too, in case you didn't notice. :)

Then, a little later, she started acting like a character named "Lawna" since she was in charge of the lawn. She did this for almost an hour - just came and asked me if I saw something in the yard and then she went to go get it. She was trying to have a tough voice I think.

This video is from a while ago. I found Emmy in her carseat just piling her chapstick onto her entire face. I like how she was acting like everything was totally normal. Haha.
