Slumber Party

On Saturday, we invited our best buds over for our first sleepover.  Charlie came for Zane and Abhi and Ella came for Emmy.  So, since Molly was with us too, I had 7 kids by myself all Saturday evening and Sunday morning since Zack had to work. The kids were amazing - I actually couldn't believe how well they all behaved and how well they played together and treated each other.  We had SO MUCH FUN!! Gosh, they have so much energy, so we did a lot.

We played games
Princesses and dolls
Backyard fun - sand box and trampoline and balls

Pizza of course

with peaches and mangos to make it a little healthier. :)

Wii

At bedtime, Zane and Charlie slept in his room.  Smith wanted to sleep there too - but he had to sleep in his own bed. The boys just chatted and giggled in their sleeping bags for 2 HOURS. They didn't fall asleep until almost 10 and then woke up bright and early at 5:30 am.  LOL. They loved being in sleeping bags with glow sticks.

The girls slept in the family room - they read some books, and were happy with their dream light and glow sticks. They fell asleep around 9 and woke up around 6.

Smith was right in there with the crowd

Art time

Outside on the deck, we set up a snack bar with snacks and lemonade.  I got them all sunblocked and they played outside for a long time.
Then, Katy came up Sunday morning and picked up Charlie and Zane and we took all the kids to church.  It was a success. :)
Here's Molly after church and after her cookie.

Bedtime

One of my favorite parts of everyday is reading with the kids at night before bed. We do it every single night no matter what and it's the best routine. This night I let Zane and Emmy put Smith to bed. I usually read separately with him without the big kids, so they view it as a treat when they read with him.

Reading "Pajama Time" together.  When Emmy and Smith read it with me, they dance.

Misc

Warm weather = happy kids and happy mom

These guys have been playing for HOURS everyday outside in the backyard lately.  The other day, Zane and Emmy played outside from after lunch till almost dinner time.
I took a thousand pictures just because they were having so much fun.

 Such a personality

Zack ran a half marathon and we went to cheer him on.
Molly was holding my coffee for me, and then tried to take a sip.
 They made signs for him.

Here are some cute pictures of Smith and Em in their pj's.

Wow Museum on a rainy day...
This is Emmy dressed up like a pirate and giving me a "mean pirate face." She's good at getting into character.

We've started packing - here's our first packed box.
Zane got to have his last soccer practice with a professional British soccer coach.  The coach was hard core and really into it - it was absolutely hilarious watching Zane and the other kids trying to keep up with what he was asking them to do.
Emmy's class had all the mom's come for a Mother's Day Tea. They made snacks and served us drinks and snacks, sang to us, danced with us, and made us a ton of cute crafts.

Getting ready to play outside.  Smith's putting on his shades.

Just a couple of cute shots of little Molly.  She is pulling herself up now and cruising around. She's such a cutie pie - even when she's getting new teeth and fussing.

 Going on a walk
Playing Peek-a-boo with Em and cracking up.  I love how well she is loved at our house and how much she loves my 3 kids.
