Concerts, Football, Superheroes, Bikes, and More

There's nothing I love more than when all 3 kids join together in something.  It makes me so happy when they play together and are best buds.

Lately, they  have been obsessed with putting on big concerts, playing Superheroes, and playing football.  They also have been playing a ton of Legos and riding bikes.

I took a bunch of pictures of this concert to try to capture their expressions. They get so into it, especially Smith.  He and Zane were on the guitars and Emmy was on the microphone.  Then, they'll switch around and someone may be on drums, or the xylophone...

Right now, Zane plays football every recess at school.  And now he wants us to get out and play with him anytime we can.  This day, they all wanted to put on Charger's shirts and be the Chargers. Zane and Emmy were tackling each other and cracking up.
We just signed Zane up to try spring flag football. I bet he's going to love it!

Trying to look tough.
Tough girl!

Smith loves playing too.  He loves to tackle and get tackled. He's keeps up with the big kids pretty well.

Superheroes...

Iron Man, Spider Man, and Spider Girl
Zack and his sister Becca went on a quick trip down to Alabama to visit their dad.  He had a good trip.

He brought home from shirts that Papa got at his favorite restaurant there.

More dress up -
This is the sheriff and a bandit.
I love this pic of Emmy getting to snuggle and watch TV with Grandma Shirley and Pappy.  They came to stay with her and Smith one day so I could take Zane to his basketball game.
Zack went to Frasier a couple weekends ago for middle school camp.  So, the big kids and I dropped Smith off with Aunt Nell and Uncle Nony in Greeley for a night and day and drove up to go tubing with them. Last minute, I panicked and decided I could use more help so I called Judi and Bob and they joined us. It was so, so much fun!  Smith had a great time too - they played hours of ping pong, went to the park, and he got all the attention.  He was not sad at all saying goodbye when we left him there. :)
They did so well!

Bob pulling them

Legos!!! Even Smith joins in playing now.  They think of so many creative ways to play.  Lately, they've been making the Lego Movie characters and playing with them.
Zane stayed home sick one from school last week. This is what he did ALL DAY....listened to music and played Legos.

These two little cuties (Smith and Molly) have been hilarious together lately.  They are partners in crime for sure and are becoming closer and closer friends.

This one particular morning, I left them in the basement alone for literally 3-4 min so I could grab something upstairs.  That was my first mistake! When I came down, they were in the basement bathroom, with the sink running full blast, and smith was dumping cups full of water onto Molly's head.  They were both completely drenched from head to toe.  She was shivering and saying "Brrrr" but they were both laughing.  Oh, and the toilet paper was all over the floor and soaked.  Hey, at least they weren't using toilet water!

So after that, I changed their clothes and we snuggled into blankets to get warmed up and watched Mickey Mouse.
We read some books
Then we headed to the park.  They played so well together all day.  It was just one of those super fun days. :)

Last Mother's Day, my sisters and I had planned to take my mom to a painting class and then we never did.  So we finally got around to going.  We went out to a great dinner, and then headed to our painting class.  It was fun to spend a whole "girl's night" together.

Smith could listen to music all day...

Emmy had a playdate and Smith wanted to join into everything.  Here they all are performing a ballet show for me.  Smith...LOL.

BIKES!!
On any warm weather day, the kids beg to go ride bikes.  Grandma and Pappy got them all new bikes for Christmas, and they are loving them so far.

I love this one of the four kids.  They all look so serious.  The bike gang. :)

Poor Smith always gets so sick.  This time, he got Croup.  I ended up taking him to Urgent Care after talking to the nurse at our doctor's office.  He had been  having a high fever, horrible barking cough, congestion, and rib/tummy pain.  They gave him steroids and I think they did help a little bit.
Music in the waiting room...
