Emerson is 5 Years Old!

My sweet, sassy, silly girl turned 5 last week! Oh my goodness gracious, how time flies.  She is growing up to be such an amazing daughter and sister.  She helps me with so much.  She plays with and helps take care of Smith and Molly.  She laughs a lot and cries a lot.  She makes us laugh so so much. She's getting so much better at playing nicely with friends, compromising, etc.
She loves Frozen, Elsa and Anna. She sings the songs all the time, plays with the dolls, and dresses up.  She loves the other princesses too.  She loves playing with the princess, prince, and especially villain dolls.  Lately, she and Smith have been playing Super Heroes a lot too.  She loves to be Wonder Woman or Super Girl. She's so creative and they think of fun ideas of how to play. She got a few new Disney Lego sets for her birthday and her and Zane set them up right away.  They can play Legos for hours. She love singing and dancing.  She also loves swimming and gymnastics. I would say even more than all that, she loves TV.  This girl could sit and watch TV all day.  LOL.

I love my Emmy beyond what I ever imagined I could.  She's wonderful. :)

We went to Old C's for a pizza party dinner the night before her birthday to celebrate with family.

They sang "Happy Birthday" to her while she stood up.  She got embarrassed, but loved it.

On the morning of her birthday, we ate pancakes of course and then just had to time to spend as a family.  We went on a bike ride and then hung out at home.

Zane set up almost all of her Legoes for her

And he was so excited to watch her open gifts from him and Smith, and us.

Later that day, we had her friend birthday party at our rec center. We got to rent out the gym for an hour, and then got to play in our favorite indoor play place.  Emmy had such a fun time with all her buddies.

She looks so tall in this picture!!

Smith did the zip line and dropped into the foam pit...

 Happy girl!

Molly had some sad moments - poor girl I think felt overwhelmed.

In the party room, we had a girls' table and a boys' table.  We had strawberries, crackers and cheese, and our favorite cookies.

Lately, when we have something big planned for Zane or Emmy, Smith starts talking about his big "soccer game." So, this day, we all went out and cheered for Smith's game.  He won and Zane lost and he talked about it the rest of the day.  So funny.
This was Emmy the morning after her birthday. She woke up and put on a new costume immediately. :) I love my girl.
