Michigan

We went on our fourth trip to New Buffalo, Michigan this summer. It has been crazy watching the kids grow up and do more and more each time they go.  Zane's first trip was when he was only a couple WEEKS old, and now he's 8 and learning all sorts of new things, even tried water skiing this year! The younger kids love it just as much and are just as brave as Zane.  I feel so so blessed to get to have the opportunity to take our family there to experience so much. And I love being there with everyone.

It's always such good quality time playing, resting, playing some more, swimming, boating, tubing, etc etc etc. The kids even get to sleep together in the attic room. They were completely worn out every day. My kind of trip.

These pictures are completely out of order...oh well.

At the airport.

We rented a 15 passenger van so we could all ride together.

On of my favorite shots from the trip - on our very first night there. (Zane and Smith)

Eating in the sunroom with an amazing view of Lake Michigan.

Grandma tubing with Emmy and Zane

Smith loved it too - I am so thankful all my kids are adventurous and will try new things and like them usually!

Little Smith kept giving a thumbs up to tell the driver to go faster, even when we were already flying.  He cracked up the entire time.

 Jord and Nell
Molly with Aunt Jos and Uncle Zack

My favorite was watching Zack with Emmy and Zane, going on a super fast crazy ride.

 Sweet girl with her dad

We all jumped off the boat to swim for a while.
 Grandpa Dave
 Aunt Nell

We rode the boat all the way to the sand dunes one day, and spent a great day there.

 Found some frogs
 We
Smith didn't know about the sand. Haha

We all rode the big slide

Aunt Becca and Fisher (Fish did not like the slide) ;)

 Molly swam by herself
 Baby Bellies!!

Molly and Emmy spent a lot of time in the sand, this time building a sand castle with Grandma.

More tubing.  We took a million pictures so wanted to post a few.  It was just so much fun.

The kids got to jump in and swim w Zack and Grandpa Dave
I LOVE this picture - Zack smiling at his three little ones.

 Water skiing!!

Smith and his sweet cousin Perry, going with us to pick up the other kids at the boat dock.

Smith and me kayaking.  Zack took him out once and they tipped over.
My sisters, mom, and I took Zane to a One Republic concert nearby one night.  It was his first concert.

 Hamburger joint!
Had to get this shot of Emmy pouting.  It wasn't all fun and games. We had some bad attitudes pop up every once in a while.  I love her body language - it cracks me up.
 Grandma
Smith and his best little buddy

 Oinks for icecream

 It was Jord's birthday!

We got to do one wild ride and we loved it.

Grandma and her two little guys

 Smith's reckless abandon

 Baseball in the backyard!

More birthday fun - we celebrated Nell and Grandma's birthday too.

 Handsome man

We LOVED having our cousins, Fisher and Perry ( and their parents Becca and Chris ;)), visit for a few days.  It was SO MUCH FUN having them there with us to play and spend time with us.
Zack was brave to get on the tube a few times - he doesn't love it, but Dave gave them a crazy ride and I loved every second of watching it.
I love these guys - thanks for an amazing trip!

Zane got to go with all the guys to a Cubs and Rockies game at Wrigley Field.  He got a ball and got on the big screen - his dream come true!
