Schneider Family Reunion

Wow, I think this is the longest I've ever gone without updating my blog. Life has been full and busy for sure. Since I have a weird OCD thing about blogging in order, I'm going back to mid-July and then hopefully will catch up soon.

My dad's side of the family came into town for a weekend a few weeks ago. It was fun to spend time with aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great uncles, grandmas, etc. My dad let everyone hang out at his house a bunch and then we all got out and did some fun stuff together. Here are some pictures in absolutely no sort of order!

Here's the whole fam.

Emmy hanging out with her Grandpa Jack. She loved sitting by him all day.

Here's our fam with my Great-Aunt Marni from Virginia Beach. She's so fun to be around and helped coordinate the whole thing.

Us with Grandma Kathy from San Diego.
Here we are with Great-Uncle Bill.

Eating popsicles outside on the lawn...

We went to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo one day. Zane and Emmy wiped out in the car on the way home.

Zane got his face painted like a monkey, of course.

Zane also got to go down into the elephant's space to hide a treat that he had prepared for them with peanut butter, grass, cereal, etc. Then, we went back up and got to watch the elephants come back out and search for their treats.

Riding in the wagon with his cousin Charlie...
They got to pet a baby kangaroo.
Feeding the giraffes was fun, but then Emerson started eating their crackers (gross) and when we took them away, she had a huge crying fit.

We spent one full day hanging out at our community pool and clubhouse. These are the kids eating snacks and watching a movie after a full day of swimming and playing.

Hanging out on the deck.
