November misc.

We finally got it together by the November deadline this year, to fill up an Operation Christmas child box for two kids. It was amazing to watch our kids' get so excited and happy to shop and fill up boxes to give to other kids for Christmas.  They really do have such giving hearts. We did one girl box and one boy box.

Emmy couldn't wait to send hers.  She kept opening it herself and imagining it being the girl who received it.  She was trying to imagine how happy she'd be to get our gift.

The boys also enjoyed filling their boy's box.

Zane and Emmy both filled out a sheet about them, to try to be pen pals with their kid.  This was Emmy reading hers, to make sure it all sounded good.
We have been to the new and improved Children's museum a few times now.  They did an awesome job renovating, and there were a bunch of new activities.

They have a "summit" to climb - its super high and you can climb up all the way to the top.  The kids went first on their own and then I went with them the second time to check it out.

They got to build their own paper rocket ships and blast them.  Zane was set on getting his through certain target.
 Zipline
These guys played in this little fort forever.

Zane got to go to an Avalanche game with Zack.

Just a random - Smith wanted to dress like a real soccer player.

Emmy, lately, has wanted to act out books that she's reading. Sometimes she can talk the boys into joining in.  Smith is such a little trooper - he goes along with all her ideas.  This was him, holding something on her head.  I love when Zane joins in too.
For my birthday, we went to Beni Hana's with my sisters and brother-in-laws.

Over our Thanksgiving week off of school and the week after, we watched ALL SIX Star Wars movies!  The kids got completely into it.  Since we started, they've been playing Star Wars since.   Someone at work gave Zack these light sabers for the kids.  They held them during every movie and have spent hours training to be Master Jedis. I love when they start to love a new thing - and right before Christmas, so that made shopping for Christmas a lot easier!

During the movie...
This is how we found Smith sleeping some nights - he didn't want to let go of his other light saber.
