I honestly don't ever want to imagine life without my Diff Bug, Smith. He lights up all of our worlds and loves BIG. He is soooo all boy. He loves to wrestle, fight, have light saber fights, save the world, get the bad guys, play Ninja Turtles, etc. But somehow, he still finds a way to be super snuggly, caring, gives tons of hugs and kisses, and makes you feel like you're his favorite person in the world.
Also, he's incredibly coordinated so keeps up amazingly well with Zane and Emmy in games and sports. He's tough and holds his own for sure. And on top of all that, he has gotten really good at taking care of others and being a good friend...sharing, taking turns, compromising. I'm just so proud of my baby (who is now a crazy tall, strong, big BOY).
On his birthday, he and Molly started the day with a soccer game. It was a blast watching 3-4 year olds play soccer.
Here's Mol saying Happy Birthday.
We brought cupcakes for everyone to celebrate.
The football fans...busy watching, I mean playing and reading...
That night, Zack and I went to a wedding that he was in. We had one of our favorite babysitters over to treat the kids with games, movie, and pizza for Smith's bday.
We also had a family party a few days later. They have such giving hearts.
The big party was at the giant gym at the rec center, with a bunch of sweet friends. Right before the party, Emmy came down with the stomach flu! So she and Zack had to miss the entire party. Luckily, my mom had already offered to help with the party. She and Jord both came and helped a ton!! Poor Em was devastated to miss it.
They loved rolling each other...
Zane could actually hold on, so he rolled all the way across the room going upside down. The other little guys, just fell out every time.
Zane had a little bit of fun too. ;) One of the guys running the party threw the football to him the entire time. It was awesome.
All the kids!!
Then we walked upstairs to have cake and open presents.
Ninja Turtles!!
And play place afterwards. It was a really fun day with our Smithy Doodle.
