Pumpkin Process

Our pumpkin picking experience this year was pretty ridiculous.  We waited way too long to go to the pumpkin patch.  We passed up great days because we were too busy and then finally we only had one day left before Halloween that all of us were together.
It was the coldest, most dreary and muddy day possible. Oh and all the pumpkins had been picked over so they were ALL rotten, broken, and disgusting.
We walked around for a while and in that time our shoes got completely full of mud and hay.  So we had to take them all off before getting into the car and when I got home I spent a ton of time washing and cleaning all our shoes.
AND we didn't find any pumpkins!!

At least we got some cute pictures. :)

Molly was with us...they were trying to hold hands.

So, we ended up going to pick pumpkins at King Soopers instead. LOL Which seriously was almost as much as a pain as the patch.

We cleaned them out and carved them.  And Zack and I ate toasted seeds later for a snack. :)

Later Emmy added a pink mustache
And I was too tired by the end of that night to carve mine, so I slapped on some eyes and mustache and called it good.

Wow, that ended up being a crazy afternoon and night!
