Halloween

Our Halloween was so much fun this year. Zane completely got the whole concept of dressing up and trick-or-treating, which made it really great. First, we went to Zane's gym class and he got to wear his costume there. He was a big hit, especially when he was jumping on the trampoline and his trunk kept bouncing up and down.

That night, we went to Monument for our church's Harvest Party. There were tons of games, a couple of bounce houses, and lot's of candy. Zane really paid attention to the other costumes and asked me what everyone was the whole night. Then, he would tell them hi by the name of what they were, like, "Hi, Pumpkin!" Zack and I were doctors this year, obviously.

Emerson got scared when we first walked in because a few people in crazy costumes walked up to her to say hi, but after that initial crying, she was super happy just being in the stroller and watching everything going on around her. She only wore her flower hat for 10 min. though before she got tired of it and pulled it off.

Here's Zane with his two little pumpkin friends, Emily and Halley Kate.
He likes to hold other kids hands now, so when I asked him to take a picture with Kai, he held his hand.
Look at this elephant flying down the huge slide!
After the party, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Colorado Springs for Zane to trick or treat. They both were holding a candy bar to stay entertained so we could get some pictures.

We caught Zane giving Emerson tastes of his candy!

Here's Zane and Emmy hanging out with Grandma.
Zane went trick-or-treating with Grandpa Dave.

Here is Zane trick-or-treating. He was super friendly with everyone, telling them hi, trying to look in their house, and telling them happy Halloween. This video is funny because when people offered him the bowl of candy, he just kept taking one after another after another until we had to basically pull his hand away for him to stop.

I have a few more pictures and videos that my mom took that I'll get on here soon. :)

That's so fun that Zane understood trick or treating! Love the trunk, and Emerson was such a doll as a flower! Nice job, Dr. & Dr. Weingartner!
