Christmas 2010

Christmas was great this year. Zane was so into it and understood the real reason why we celebrate Christmas, how it feels to give to others, and also all the Santa stuff. Emmy followed along with what he did, so it was super fun for her too. These are the pictures and I'll post the videos soon.

We started our celebrations on the 23rd by going to my Dad's house. We ate pizza, made Christmas cookies, and opened presents.

He and Emmy both got a new Zhu Zhu pet with a car they can drive in. It was hilarious. Emmy also got a new baby who she loves and they got a huge new Play-doh set.

The next day, the 24th, we just hung out at my Mom's house. Luckily, Zane and Emmy had a bunch of extra people to hang out with and play with.

On Christmas Eve, Dave's nephew and his family came over so Zane and Emmy had two other little girls to play with. There were toys everywhere.



They were both so tired from the day before that they slept 12 hours on Christmas Eve! Now, that's a true Christmas miracle because they were both so happy on Christmas, and so were Zack and I. They slept in, got up and ate breakfast downstairs, and then came up and started the day.

Zane and Emmy got each other gifts this year. Zane picked his out and completely wrapped it himself, so it was fun to watch him see Emmy open it and get excited. It was also sweet watching them say thank you to each other.

They both got a new Pillow Pet from Santa and LOOOOOOVE them.
