Video Mania

I think the absolute sweetest and most rewarding moments that makes being a parent all worth it is when our kids are playing together and loving each other. When I see them showing patience, love, empathy, and humor with each other my heart bursts with joy. Here are a few videos that I've taken lately of just that.

In this video, we were setting up our Christmas stuff and had to take a break to dance with Santa.

I loved how sweet Zane was being to Emmy. He was scooting over in the chair and letting her climb all over him to sit next to him. They were running back and forth from the kitchen to the chair, sitting for a while, and then doing it again. It's so cute how when he's happy playing, it's like he doesn't even notice Emmy pushing him and doing whatever she wants.

Here, we were swinging at the park. Almost everytime Zane swings, he makes up songs and sings them. This time, he made up one about Scooby Doo (his obsession right now). He always ends his songs with a long note. Sweet little Emmy was just giggling away.

This is a quick video of them chasing each other. They had run all over the park and then ran into the tennis courts. Emmy will follow Zane anywhere, even underneath the net.
