December So Far

I feel like we've already had a really busy month of December and it's just going to get busier. I feel like the holiday season is super fun this year already because of Zane and Emmy. So, we've done a bunch of little crafts and activities to get ready for the big day. Here's some other things that we've been up to.

The weather has been so nice that we've spent a lot of time outside on walks and even at parks. This day, they wanted to take their dogs and little stuffed animal friends on a walk to the park.

Getting bundled up inside - Emmy loves to wear her hat and mittens inside and outside.
We had Granny's (My 99 year old Great-Grandma's) annual Christmas party. We did a gift exchange and ate lunch together with our family from her side of the family.

They were helping throw trash away and bring gifts to people.
Getting tired at the end...
Last week, we picked our tree. They wanted to "run through the haunted forest" as Zane said it. Zane had a lot of opinions on which tree we got, but they mostly just laughed and ran around.

Then, we put it up that night. Zane was showing Emmy how to put the ornaments on. It's funny how they both just basically picked one branch and wanted to put every single ornament on that branch.

Last night, we went to Zane's Christmas program at his school. Emerson was prepared for the show in these glasses that she borrowed from a friend sitting next to her. She couldn't sit through the whole 10 minutes, so Zack had to walk her in the back. I posted the videos above.

Singing away - we could hear his voice over everyone else's voice most the time.

After the show, we came home and had a silly photo shoot in front of our tree...
They were giving me and each other lot's of hugs and kisses.
